The aim in Oskar, a flame-retardant 100% polyester Trevira CS, was to re-create the irregularity of the texture of a handwoven Iranian rug. A special mélange flame-retardant fibre was developed for the best reproduction of the artisanal appearance. The pleasing and almost natural hand, together with the originality of the asymmetrical faded stripe pattern, plays with the neutral tones, like that of undyed wool. The fabric is available in 5 colours and is suitable for heavy use.
