The Ruskin crepe damask is inspired by a patchwork of fragments of Renaissance velvet present in the Rubelli historical archive. The 100% Trevira CS fabric was produced thanks to a special weaving technique able to reproduce the effect of an abraded pattern, almost as if bringing to mind the memory of a pattern. This play on broken lines perfectly matches the surface with movement and the iridescent palette. Extensive research was carried out for the Ruskin colour shades, ranging from clear colours on the delicate pastel shades up to definitely brighter colours. The fabric is available in 18 colours and is suitable for light use.
