The Toile de Venise fabric is inspired by the Toile de Jouy pattern although in this case the Rubelli design studio, in place of the bucolic themes of the famous printed fabric, opted to depict details of engravings from the early eighteenth century created by Luca Carlevarijs, father of Venetian vedutism. For Toile de Venise jacquard was preferred the jacquard technique instead of the print, which makes the article even more interesting from the textile viewpoint. The fabric is available in 3 colours: light ground with sepia pattern, aquamarine ground with sepia pattern and a slightly contrasted tone with sepia ground and anthracite pattern. Toile de Venise is suitable for regular use.
