Damask. Featuring an elegant geometric pattern, it has the same silky effect as Song. Like the Cem Sultan lampas, Sing’s pattern comes from the ceramic ornamentation of the mausoleum of Cem Sultan in Bursa, dating back to the end of the fifteenth century. A series of octagons joined together creates a continuous decoration. Also, various weave effects create shading, which reference the typical nuances of Islamic ceramics. The use of bright yarns constantly interacting with the light gives a noble and precious appearance.
